To protect the environment, we utilize microfiber cloths and recycled paper. Not only is this practice better for the environment, but microfiber also picks up 99% of bacteria while cotton-based mops only pick up 30%.

Many cleaning companies falsely advertise green cleaning practices. We strive to be as transparent as possible and are happy to answer any questions you have regarding our eco-friendly practices.

Environmentalists use this term to describe companies that falsely advertise green cleaning services. For example, pouring bleach into a recycled container cannot be advertised as an eco-friendly practice because it misleads consumers to think that the contents of the bottle are environmentally friendly when they are not. The supplies are high-end and well-known brands that can be research for safety and its ingredients.  To save paper we only use recycled paper towels as well as microfiber clothes for dusting and other general tasks.

We also guarantee our work.  We will come and re-do what is reported within 24 hours.

Yes, we are happy to use your products and tools if you prefer. We of course prefer that they be environmentally friendly whenever possible.

You can rest assured that all our professional housecleaners are fully trained, insured and have had background check performed. We respect all our customers by never smoking, drinking, eating, or using appliances during our home cleanings. Our technicians will carry out services that exceed expectations. We also undergo regular training to ensure that we are always up to date with all the latest and greatest cleaning techniques.  Please check MyEco Quality Checklist for our provided standards.

All our cleaning personnel is experienced and trained for 2 weeks with what is called a SHADOW TRAINING, after the initial training period the technicians are working under strict supervision with our long-term employees for a period of no less than 2 weeks. If additional guidance is required or recommended our company re-trains or continues the instructions till the satisfied quality of work is reached.

Eco-Friendly Cleaning carries liability insurance to protect you against an accident in your home and/or any damages caused to your home and/or belongings because of our services. Our proof of insurance is provided with your proposal.

At Eco Way Cleaning, we treat every single home we clean with the utmost respect. If something happens to break during our routine service, we will do our best to repair or replace the item. Our technicians are required to report any issues right away.  Please report the damage right away if possible. Our services are fully insured, so claims can be filed when appropriate.

The cleaning methods we use ensure that your home receives the most consistent clean every time. After an initial consult, we will create a customized cleaning plan that is designed to accommodate all your specific requests. However, we do recognize that perfection is not always possible, which is why we back all our work with a satisfaction guarantee. We are happy to correct our mistakes at no additional cost to you when you call us within 24 hours of your most recent service.

Eco-Way house cleaning takes care of any personal liability. We are fully licensed and insured for your peace of mind.

We require 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations within less than 24 hours incur 50% of the service charge. If our worker is unable to gain access to your home at the time of scheduled cleaning, you will also be responsible for paying a lock out fee of 50% of your rate. In case of emergencies, we will not charge you. The fee is only for the habitual instances.

The most common frequency is b-weekly service, meaning our technicians will come to clean every 2 weeks and perform our maintenance quality check list.

We will recommend how often you need your house cleaned at your consultation.

We do bring everything so that you do not have to! Unless there is a special product you would like us to use.

Yes, we are happy to use your vacuum or any other tools of yours for cleaning your home. Please let us know before the service so we can let the technicians know.

We change our vacuum bags with every cleaning appointment!

Eco-Way takes a multi-level approach when it comes to making sure your cleaning is a non-toxic, allergen-free experience. First, all the products we use are made of non-toxic, eco-friendly, allergen-free ingredients. Then, we use equipment, such as HEPA filter vacuums, to help reduce the amount of dust in your home.

Eco Way house cleaning is happy to provide service one time only, once a week, every other week, or once a month, depending on your cleaning needs. We also offer of housekeeping services for large size homes that require visits couple times per week. Those services are run by our sister company – HHH – Happy Home Housekeepers which is currently under works and expected to run in the Fall 2021. You can also request housecleaning services for special events, as well as move-out and move-in cleaning assistance. Because we work on a no-contract basis, you can update or change your cleaning plan to fit your busy schedule, budget, and cleaning needs.

It is designed to provide our customers with a clear layout of what is included in each of the services we offer. In addition to being useful for our customers, it also serves as a guide for our professional cleaning technicians as they are cleaning.

It depends on the size of your home, the type of service being performed, and the overall level of cleanliness Deep-clean services can take up to twice as long as a routine cleaning. To receive a more accurate estimate of the time required to clean your home, simply request a quote. We will provide you with a timeframe of cleaning you would like to book.

An Initial Cleaning is a more detailed cleaning and is designed to bring your home up to professional green cleaning standards by removing dust, grease and other debris that may have collected around your home. It can also be performed if too much time lapses between cleanings due to additional buildup. A maintenance cleaning is for homes that we service on a regular basis. Our deep cleaning service includes all the tasks of Initial cleaning plus the cleaning of the interiors of items such as windows, drawers, closets, cabinets, refrigerator, oven, etc. The special spots will be discussed and confirmed before the appointment.

The first cleaning of your home will cost more because it takes more time for us to clean. We give your home a thorough first-time cleaning that helps us maintain the cleanliness of your home for subsequent cleanings. We need the extra time to properly begin the process of eliminating mildew, soap scum, dust, and dirt from your home.

Our initial cleaning includes

  • washing doors, moldings, and windowsills.

  • polishing window glass and all glass doors.
  •  
  • we move furniture when possible, to clean under and behind them.
  •  
  • we move all the knickknacks and decorations to dust under.
  •  
  • we remove cobwebs, dust from fans and blinds.

  • cleaning inside cabinets and drawers can be requested.

The initial service is charge by the hour and how long the team cleans depends on the condition of the home, recency of last professional service, amount of furniture, decorations, and windows among other things. You can always set your budget and prioritize your rooms!

To ensure maximum efficiency, we ask that you pick up any toys or clothing before we arrive. We also ask that you find a place for your pets, so they are comfortable while we clean.

NOTE ABOUT DISHES – although we are happy to clean your dishes left in the sink, please understand that they take time and take away of other tasks that we can do for you.

No. Because we work on an 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule, Monday to Friday, most of our customers are not home when we arrive. In most of these cases, our insured housecleaning professionals are provided with a spare key or garage code.  If you prefer to meet us, we can always come before you leave for work.

While we cannot warranty our exact time of arrival because we give every home the attention it deserves and requires, there are unforeseen road closures, floods, traffic, and mechanic failures – we do offer arrival windows for your convenience.  The arrival cleaning windows are usually 30 minutes or less, so for example our promised arrival is 8:00-8:30 or 12:00-12:30.  Our competition offers anywhere from 3 – 5 hours of arrival time which we think is unacceptable and holds the homeowners from their planned activities.

Yes! In fact, we encourage it. Your preferences give us the structure we need to enhance your cleaning experience and ensure that you are completely satisfied with your home’s level of clean. To be sure that your preferences are recorded in your cleaning plan, we recommend that you email us directly or leave a note for our technicians especially if the refrigerator or oven cleaning is due.   Our friendly office staff would be happy to log your needs in your file, so you do not have to recap them every time we arrive for service.

We believe that it is particularly important to always send the same team to clean your home and we do everything in our control to make this possible. If a member of your team is absent, we will do our best to find the most suitable replacement. All our residential housekeepers undergo extensive and specific training to ensure that the quality of our work is always consistent.

 

While tips are not expected, we can accept them. Some of our clients prefer to tip a little at the end of each service while others provide a large tip at the end of the year. You can also leave a review on Google or Facebook page. We love hearing that our work is appreciated.

Yes, we are proud to be a pet-friendly company. If your pet is aggressive in any way, we recommend that you leave him or her outside or in a gated area to ensure the safety of our professional housecleaners. If you do not plan on being home when we arrive, please let us know how to appropriately handle cleaning around your pet.

It is simple. Email is best and the quickest to get an answer – ecoway.theway@gmail.com Keep in mind, there also may be times when weather makes it unsafe for us to travel and carry equipment and supplies to your home. Driveways and sidewalks must be cleared and accessible. Holidays may also require a schedule change. Your understanding and cooperation in rescheduling is greatly appreciated.

We suggest one of the following methods of arranging access, but we can accommodate virtually any arrangement that is convenient for you:

  • Provide us with a key to keep in our key safe
  •  
  • Leave a key for us in a specific location
  •  
  • Leave a key with a neighbor or building manager
  •  
  • Be at home when the cleaning crew arrives and let them in yourself

If your home has a security system, please provide us with the code and steps necessary for us to turn off the alarm. We will reset the alarm when we leave. Alternatively, you may want to disable it on the day of your scheduled clean.

Our Supervisors randomly inspect the jobs, the work quality and arrival times on a regular basis. They may enter your home after the team leaves; however, we will let you know in advance of our inspection. This is to ensure the highest quality standards for our house cleaning services

During the event that one of your routine cleanings falls on a holiday, we will reach out to you. Our team will also remind you of any additional housecleaning services that we can provide you with so you can be prepared for the upcoming holiday. We will do our best to work with your schedule.

Payments are due on the day of your scheduled service. Most of our valued customers leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter, but we also accept credit card payments via Pay Pal, Venmo, Apple Pay and Zelle. If you do choose to write us a check, please make it payable to CASH or ECO-WAY (for this option only please add 7% tax).

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer carpet cleaning, however we can recommend few companies that will provide you with a free quote.
